The Stables Cottage

The Stables sleeps two and is almost on one level with only three steps down from the lounge/dining room to the double bedroom. It also has a fitted kitchen and shower room. There is an open fire in the lounge, electric storage heating and supplementary electric heaters. 

The lounge is fully furnished with a settee and  reclining leather chairs. The kitchen/dining area has everything you would need for a self catering break. (The local pubs do wonderful food and Wilf's Cafe in the village offers indulgent breakfasts, so you don't have to cook. Lucy's of Ambleside will even take your order and deliver great food to your door!)

There is a very large private garden with picnic table and magnificent views to the west which show the whole of the central fells. The garden is a magnificent spot to sit and enjoy a cool drink whilst watching the sun set behind the mountains.

Bedroom

The view from the bedroom is the same as this from the kitchen

The bedroom is just 3 steps down from the living room. The view from the bedroom makes for very leisurely morning tea in bed.

Outside the door is a barbeque and garden chairs for guests use as well as an additional supply of logs for the fire.

The footpath to Brunt Knott Fell passes the front door.
