A 17th century Lakeland hill farm with magnificent views from the sea to the highest point in England. The farm is situated at the foot of the beautiful Kentmere valley between the county town of Kendal and Lake Windermere
The farm has sheep and extremely free range hens! Eggs are available for visitors to buy (subject to availability and mood of the hens)
The cottages are traditionally constructed in stone and slate, each with its own garden and private parking. Decor is traditional, with rustic beams, full carpeting and comfortable furniture.
All items required under the Visit Britain Self Catering 3 star classification are included, such as colour television and VCR, electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator along with a full range of catering utensils. Barbeque sets and garden furniture are available for each cottage.
